At Myovine, we're passionate about transforming physiotherapy through technology. Founded by a dedicated team of four 5th-year computer engineering students at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Myovine is our capstone project aimed at revolutionizing patient care.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Myovine uses raw data (EMG signals) to quantify exercises that users are completing. This data is saved in the app and used to track the progress of the person’s training, which can be shared with their doctor/physiotherapist. This allows the doctor/physiotherapist to watch the patient's progress remotely, which helps to ensure that everything is going as planned and the needed exercises are being completed. Myovine’s program will also give motivational, personalized feedback based on the progress. In the future we aim to use machine learning to determine the most effective pathway for rehabilitation. This will be obtained through the anonymous saved data sets, and used only for the furthering of patient progress.
